Lanie Parish taught me that you can get the job done and be sassy and sexy doing it. Javier Esposito taught me that being damaged is okay. You can make it a strength. Alexis Castle taught me that no matter how much your parents piss you off, they’re your family. Love them anyway. Roy Montgomery taught me to stand up for what I believe in, and that we are more than our mistakes. Mike Royce taught me to never wonder “if only.” Rick Castle taught me it’s okay to act like a kid sometimes, and to do what you’re passionate about. Kate Beckett taught me to be extraordinary. Andrew Marlowe and Terri Miller taught me that true love can be real. But most of all, the Castle fandom taught me that I’ll never be alone.
